my Blitz SS BOV wont BLOW OFF???

Unhappy my Blitz SS BOV wont BLOW OFF???

i have a Blitz SS BOV which i bought from ebay and it will not blow off. the vaccum hose is hooked up theres, vaccum, theres boost but no blow off.

i took it apart it is SUPER hard to push in. maybe they changed the spring? has anyone had any problems like this?

i adjusted it to the softest setting and nothing.

please help if u know.

Check to see if the piston is seized. The Blitz SS is notorious for that. If you want I have a Professor Sheepdog blow off valve for sale.

Is that the old trumpet one?
What a piece of ****.
Turbo II FC is right - the piston tends to seize in the bore.
Take the damn thing apart - you'll see a lot of gouges in the bore cause the piston got cocked sideways and jams.

i did take it apart, oiled it and it was the saem. the piston moves up and down just VERY VERY HARD to do so. how much for the sheepdog?

mine was seized. put it in a vice, with a piece of wood pushing in the piston, then spray some wd 40, or any other oil, keep doing that until it gets smooth.

where can i get a softer spring?

i dont think it works, i tried blowing into the vaccum line and i hear it leak out the piston. i think its just toast
