I will not recommend you to buy from theese guys.. I bought the whole thing, turbo, wastegate and manifold. One month after installing the kit, the wastegate broke down, locking in open position, glad it didn't lock closed!! Four months later the turbo is crap. So now I'm going for Turbonetics all over. The manifold seems to be good..
Good luck.

i think you will have a hard time finding a definate answer to your question, there are those that hate them and those that dont mind them, the one thing i have found is most people that warn against them have usually not had any experiences with them. I am no turbo expert and agree with the saying you get what you pay for but i bought one and thought id give it a try the worst that can happen is it fails so far i am impressed, has been on the car for about 6 months @ 16psi no problems i wasnt keen to try the wastegate though i have used a turbonetics gate

the turbo is not all that bad. its the internals used that could be better. You could get one and have garrett bearings put in it. but by the time you do all of that you could buy a good name brand turbo for less money.

I have seen one taken apart at the local speed shop. it was new and the thrust bearing was shot. good thing they took it apart to check. He is happy with it now that he rebuilt the whole thing. But thats kinda silly to me. what a savings!?

I have a oppertunity to buy one of these for about $300Au or $150US brand spanking new still sealed in the box. Is any machining required to fit the garret parts? A new Garret is $1700au so you can see why I am looking.\

i think your full of **** man. you saw the pic online and saw it was for buddy. the turbos have problems and yes you do get what you pay for. but unless he go the turbo back when xspower first started selling years ago then he would not have got one of the glued ones.
