I have an old school Greddy 2 row front mount. I just posted those pics because you wanted to see some pics of a front mount monted without the bumper. Also I posted the pics to give you an idea of what I was talking about as far as the end tanks and ic piping. I'm not saying your intercooler is useless, I just don't know how you're going to route the intercooler piping without having to have a whole bunch of unnecessary bends. There's a reason why most if not all the front mount intercooler kits that are sold out there the intercoolers' end tanks face up. It's reduces bends and it's a lot easier to put on.

Going back to this thread again. I saw XSTransAm's, a member on this forum, his intercooler set up. Ask him how he went about doing it. Here's a pic.

Thanks again FD Rey I really appreciate the pictures
Another that still worries me is will I be able to use stock bumper?
Which I would like to keep.

^ he's using a stock bumper. Most front mount intercoolers you have to "trim" some pieces inside the bumper, and remove the reinforcement.

Yeah because there is no way that reinforcement will fit.
but the reinforcement of the bumper will not be good at all.
I mean if someone sits on it, it will dent or crack.

Well all I need now is my turbo manifold for my 60-1 so I can get my I/C piping routed

Badass7 has a Gotham Racing T60-1 that fires through a PFS I/C. Ted's temps are about the same as my A2L [converted GReddy SMIC]. If I could do it all over again, I would do a SMIC with a radiator fan from Jeg's behind it and run the fan as needed. And, run a vented stock hood. I think this would be the simplest, most effective, and least costly venue.

Can I still run a Jeg's fan behind my koyo radiator?
Do you suggest dual or single fan?
I am thinking it wont fit

Why can't you run the stock fans? Not many of us run after market fans since the stock ones are pretty efficient. If you're looking to "upgrade" I'd suggest the 99+ that have more fins. I think you can find them on www.jtimports.com if he still sells them.

Well, I know he still sells things although he's gone "out of business". He still takes care of the members on here.

Yup website seems to be down at the moment or doesn't exist anymore.
I know my stock fans are in great condition and worked perfectly, I guess until they break I will upgrade.

Well JT is still on the board. And just like you said, don't "upgrade" your fans unless they give out on you. Stock ones are just fine.

Looks good but think you may have to re-clock that comp housing

Is that an e-bay manifold?
The thieving bastards at SR Motorsports were kind enough to sell me one from e-bay (usually $150) for the cheap price of $800+ and tried to pass it off as one of their in house custom units.
Needles to say I was pissed and sent it back. They did refund right away, but what a bunch of asses.

Let us know how it holds up. After seeing one in person, I would say it needed A TON of work to make the cut.

That really sucks that SR would do that to you
I thought they would sell high quality parts
Actually the manifold is a buddy of mine but just let me borrow it so I can test fit my turbo.
It actually fit pretty good, the flange holes that connect to the turbo actually fit.
He actually wants to sell it to me for $200 but dont know if I should get it or not
He claims it is SS, but it still needs some work. Overall it looks pretty good.

Should I even bother getting the manifold, I would like to try it out but would like some feedback first.

RX-Heven
do you have pictures of the manifold they sold you?

I may go either Haltech or Power FC
I need to figure out which EMS my local tuners are familiar with.
And where I live there are so many rotary specialty shops!!

I guess I need to do more research to see what best suits my set-up

you can see the exhaust ports, that they tried to smooth out the ports and kind of messed up the left one

Also check out the outlet outlet that connects to the turbo it needs some work

There's absolutely no way you can do better than that for 200 bucks Looks like it'll work more or less alright - only thing i'd doublecheck is that it matches up with the ports (make sure they line up right). Might want to see how it matches up with the turbine housing too.

Oh, and check to make sure the flanges are flat...

That doesn't look that bad at all
Where did you get this one?
Your exhaust ports look pretty even.
How is it holding up on your car?

Any more pics

It holds up pretty good, it gets red as an apple and no cracks yet.

Also that one looks better than the one I was sent but more or less the same. I guess for $150-$200 it is a decent deal, as long as it is "massaged" correctly.
However, for the cool $800 I was charged, he should have sent his wife out to earn the difference.
