Turbonetics stuff is indeed top-shelf. You will also need to obtain their V-band flange to weld to your DP for a perfect connection match. Once your exhaust is installed, go thru it and stress relieve the areas of the entire exhaust line that is on a bind so that it settle in where it wants to settle - otherwise, your connection of DP at turbo can eventully develop heat stress cracks and break if it happens to be on a bind itself.

My brother has a 60-1 with a v-band. Stock ported REW, on pump gas at 15psi he put down 374rwhp and 318 rwtq at 6.5krpm. Third gear roll, it's probably near 390 rwhp in 4th around 7.5krpm. 60-1 are decent turbo's, they have the ability to make 400rwhp, whether it's tuned efficiently is another subject.

Sorry to hijack this thread. My T04B 60-1 Turbonetics .96a/r took a dump. Second one.

Were can I go to get a new CHRA at a decent cost. A turbo shop in Cali could not match it up for me without seeing it and I would rather not go back to turbonetics and pay all that money for another CHRA which should not cost that much to begin with.

Thanks,
Ian

374 rwhp are impressive numbers considering you have .84 a/r and I believe you said you stock ports
I hope I can get to 400 rwhp with my street port and .96 a/r rear.

Love your car thanks for the pictures

You should be able to hit that. What computer are you running? My tuner said I would of broke 400 if we reved higher and boosted higher, but my turbo isn't efficient past 16-17psi anyways. Yes and I am on stock ports, and thanks for the compliments.

I am need of a turbo manifold and was checking out this one and it looks like it is very good quality and contacted them and said they could get it for me the same day.
These guys are known for building 8 sec rotaries.
Just wondering if any of you guys have bought anything from here.
Check out manifold and wastegates

Are you talking about this one?

I'm not a fan of the wastegate placement.

Yeah I know that wastegate looks like it is in the way!!
They can build your manifold to your specs.
WG would be better positioned behind manifold???

na, where they have it located is where you need it (if behind it would only loacte off 1 exhast runner, best off both)

Still the one in the pic only has a 30mm waist gate, I thought you had decided on a 40mm ?

Or you can have the WG running off where the first bend on both pipes are. My manifold kinda looks like that, but my WG comes off the first bend off the two pipesm, and it dumps down, behind the cross member.. Works just fine, and you don't have to worry about it being in the way, and all that extra added head way up there close to your LIM and where the injors will be.

I think the WG is a 35mmj but is still too small.
But overall the manifold looks good I guess.

FD Rey do you have pictures of your manifold before you installed on your FD.

I'd like to see how you're going to route the intercooler piping for that ic. I've noticed a lot of the intercooler kits that come for FD's the end tanks face up so the ic piping can be routed with minimal bends.

I was wondering that myself.
I am not really sure how my piping will be routed but it sure is going to have a lot of bends!!!
Anyone have pictures of similar intercooler mounted on their FD, so I can get an idea???

I finally got the bumper off my car but have the slightest idea where to mount I/C.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rcooler036.jpg

This is one of the 3 brackets the I/C came with
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rcooler038.jpg

The frame where the hood latch is located looks to be the spot to mount I/C or am I wrong.
Can anyone point me in the right direction and pictures would help alot
Thanks

you may have to take it to a shop and have the end tanks welded like this.

Hey FD Rey are you saying it is pretty much impossible route my piping the my end tanks are welded to the intercooler???
I just want to know if this intercooler is pretty much useless.

FD Rey nice intercooler what are the dimensions on your I/C?
I see your mounting brackets were on the side which is alot easier to mount.
