mp 62-1 or mp t-70
MP62 -1 turbo
T04 P-trim Turbine Wheel - (Ind. 2.539”/Maj. 2.913”)
T04E Compressor Wheel - (Ind. 2.400”/Maj. 3.582”)
.70a/r T04E compressor housing 4" inlet
MP T-70 turbo
T04 P-trim Turbine Wheel - (Ind. 2.539”/Maj. 2.913”)
T04E Compressor Wheel - (Ind. 2.720”/Maj. 3.584”)
.70a/r T04E compressor housing 4" inlet
the only difference is .320" on the inducer... is that going to make a huge difference? in spool and power..... ill be using a 1.15 divided rear btw.
Im going for big peak HP... i was going to get the t70 one but i got a great offer on the 62-1. thats why i ask. Im trying to get 400+whp without having to run 20psi to get it.

Either turbo should get you 400whp below 20psi. From what I have heard, the inducer has more to do with the efficiency level than the overall flow which is more dictated by the exducer of the compressor.. however, I don't know exactly how accurate that information is.

t70 w/ 1.15 on stock ports will prolly be pretty laggy, I'd say 1.00 for now, you can always change it later on tho. My friend has a t70 w/ .84 hotside on a massive streetport and hits full boost at ~4500...

so with a divided manifold... i need to run a .84, .96, 1.00?
i want it to be divided too to match the manifold. Im having a hard time finding a divided .96 tho.
I want max power.. freeway type racing. so a really peaky dyno sheet is cool.
i have to get another hot side anyway... it has a .70 on it.
im looking for full boost by 5k/5.5k in 2nd gear... and 4k/4.5k or so in 3rd.
so what hot side?

i have a feeling i wont hit full boost in 1st. maybe 10psi or so... then get the full 15psi in 2nd.
how much WHP does he make with that setup?

even at 10psi you will probably see figures over 350rwhp on the mpt70

how much peak power loss would such a small housing cause?
How much faster spool would it give?
anyone running a .84 and still making good power on a large turbo?
