It varies widely, but I think (roughly) $7,000 is about the realistic bare minimum, and most people spend north of $10,000 to get the fuel system, computer, intercooler, radiator, pulleys, boost controller, ignition, exhaust and all the other supporting items you need. Then throw in a lot of incidentals as you do the install and dyno tuning and you've spent another $1,000. It isn't cheap if you really want to get it all running right, but the results are fantastic.
Most bone stock cars need a fair amount of maintenance before you get into the turbo install, too. And you always end up wanting bigger wheels and tires to put the power to the road. It never ends!
