XS T04e vs T04s

I know the T04s is a higher flowing turbo- is it still streetable? Maybe somewhere between the T04e/RX-6 and the T-78 lag and flow-wise?

T04S gets full boost around 4000 RPM.
Its a great turbo for the street as is the T04E.

What's the boost limit on the 'S'? I mean the point beyond which it gets less efficient. For the RX-6 about 15psi is best (well, from what I've read), is this about right for the 'E'? Is the 'S' higher?

Check out:

Go to the RX-7 pictures. There are lots of pictures of the parts used in the mods of the RX-7.

Check out the other picture galleries if so inclined.

later

As soon as I get my digital camera to work ill post a pic of my T04S set up. If you want to upgrade im definatly happy. O and my ride is a street car. So far I havent lost a race... . Im pushing 333 to the wheels at 13 or so lbs. You should see the look on some of these peoples faces after I drop a gear on the high way damn it gets loud hehehehe. Its fully spooled right around 4g but since i dont have an lsd yet i cant wrap up my rpms on my launch w/o those good ol' slicks. O a benifit of this turbo is it is oil and water cooled this helps.

Ryker,

Do you have a dyno plot and/or list of mods for your setup?

333rwhp doesn't sound too bad...but XS claims 370rwhp at 13psi with the TO4E setup (which I'm guessing is the very high end, at 13psi, for that setup).

Do you think there is more power in your setup with additional tuning? What fuel computer setup are you running?

Thanks for any additional info, I am interested in the XS kits.

333 rwhp sounds ok.. but not terribly impressive for a single setup - i'd like to think reliable high 300's to 400 for a single is a good goal - otherwise twins can do 330 to the wheels no? and less lag to boot? maybe better curve as well...?
