It's Alive.

It's got paint. It's almost all the way reassembled. And for the first time in almost two years I didn't have to push the damned thing back into the garage when I was done wrenching on it.

Hell yeah =)

Turbo specs...
60-1 compressor in a .70A/R compressor housing. The exhaust side is a P-Trim wheel in a .84A/R divided housing.

I've got a 1.15 A/R housing here that's ready for some testing after I get a few thousand miles on the motor.

Motor was built by me, using stock mazda 3mm seals (actually the first time around I used rotary aviation seals, but decided against it and tore the motor down again to change them out). Rotor machining was done through Rotary Power in Gardena. Plates got the Racing Beat streetport - the thing idles like stock (should've gone bigger... oh well, next time!). New rotor housings with streetporting by mazdatrix (porting was 20 bucks more than just the template... no way i'm sitting there for 3 hours to save 20 bucks )

Exhaust manifold still needs the wastegate runners put on it, but it's got equal length 18" runners (I think it was 18"... it's been awhile) made from 1.9" ID material from mcmaster carr. Flanges are 1/2" thick stainless.

I need to decide what kind of BOV to get (old one died), but once I figure that out I'll finish the IC piping. Then the car needs some serious cleaning done to it! It's amazing how dirty you can get a car by painting it...

Anybody have recommendations on a BOV? I want something quiet, and as big as possible...

Congrats on starting your car, sounds good
Cant wait to start my baby up.
Is your exhaust manifold custom made? did you make yourself?

Thanks! I designed the manifold in Solidworks (3D CAD program), and then a friend and I built it. Not too hard, but it takes quite awhile to weld it all together!
