intake and turbo?!?!?

idk if this is exactly true but i heard if you have a turbo it just goes from the exhaust to the turbo through the intercool and into the intake part of the engine. do you really need an intake system. and if not can you explaine why you need an intake filter.

Untrue

I would recommend running for the hills, cos there are some guys on this forum that are going to tear you to pieces for a statement like that.

This link should help you out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbocharger

Good luck, you're gonna need it.

... Wow! Goes from intake to turbo, ic piping off cold side of turbo to intercooler, from intercooler to throttle body, to engine, and exhaust flows to the hotside of the turbo, out the downpipe. The reason for a intake is to make sure nothing flys into the turbo/motor and screws it up.
