i need help finding the right size turbo!

well, this coming january ill be doing a t2 conversion to my 87 na. im getting apex'i S-AFC, and ACV-R , FMIC, RB turbo back exhaust, 650 primary injecters and 750 secondary, with a street port.

ill also be running two different octain ratings, 89 for city driving and 93 for the track.

id like to make around 200-230 on 89 and closer to 250-280 on 93.
does this seem reasonable?

ive herd from other people that i can get a S5 turbo and have it up graded to a to4e

and ive also been looking at a garrett gt28 (disco potato) or possibly a gt25.

whitch one of these is going to efficiently do what i need it to do, the gt25 - 28, or the upgraded S5 turbo?

im curious because i gave up on learning how to match turbos to engins and reading compressor maps.

also, what psi will I need to be running to get these power numbers, i was thinking any where from 12-16 psi.

thanx a bunch,

gimme ure input,
chris

the T28 is going to be too small and if your only going for 200hp, just stick with the stock turbo and some mods....

well like i said ill be shooting for close to 300 flywheel horses(260 wheel horses). i know the S5 turbo upgraded might hit the magic number, and if its bigger than a gt28 then what size aftermarket turbo would one suggest? i assume the HKS upgrade kit for the T2 would be the right size cause they claim like 350 wheel horse power.

does anybody else have any input? 22 views and 1 reply is kinda sad.

i apreciate your input mr.weee

bump

i assume the A/R has something to do with how much power it will support.

will a .60 cool and .65 hot have the proper flow to produce 275WHP at 16 psi?

It's because it's been covered before, and no one wants to repeat it.
