HKS manifold bolts up to a Tial 46mm waste gate?

like the title says does the HKS manifold bolt up to a Tial 46mm waste gate or do I need some type of adapter? Also what spring should I get for 15lbs to 20lbs?

I doubt it.

if you get a 20lb spring 20psi will be the minimum boost you can run. I'd say that be pretty tricky to get tuning done.

I would get a 10 psi personally, to start tuning off of. Then go higher once you figure out your minimum boost you want to run.

1 bar = 14.7psi

I believe that a .65 or a .70 spring would be a great place to start for you. And about the wastegate question, I think that you will have to use an adapter. But that I'm not sure about. Best of luck to you.

It will not bolt up. As much as I like the TiAL wastegates, HKS makes good wastegates, too. Why not save yourself some trouble and just run an HKS wastegate?

Yeah now that you guys know it does not bolt right up I will go ahead and buy the HKS unit. Who has the cheapest HKS 50mm wastegate? When i seach i keep getting that stone racing bullshit. And i will take your advise and get a smaller spring thanks.

If found some here but I wonder why the hks gt is a 60mm and its just about the same price as the 50mm. That does not make any since for some reason. Anyone have any comments on these? Is the 40mm to small for 20lbs?

That only works on the stainless steel HKS manifold. I helped them to develop that adapter so I know.

There are two kinds of HKS 50mm racing wastegate. One works with the cast manifold and one works with the stainless steel manifold. Make sure you buy the correct one.
