this is a 13B RE houseings..
and the GT42R.. makes way more power now though.. so ill see when i can grab another pic of the other dyno but you guys get the idea.. i did send 2 pics one of the engine bay as well.. just keep in mind this is a street car, easy everyday driving too.. Everything steetable just a matter of looking at it. This car is for sure the fastest in this province in Canada, I think it might be fastest street car in canada as well. Traction is the problem now. Its trapping a 10.4 @ 150mph still burning out on full wrinkle wall slicks.. bastard POWA!!

So how do you think a GT47 88mm will spool on your engine?

Thanks!

I've personally seen Romeo's 1st gen from Tri State Motorsports make 630HP at 5800 RPMS with a GT42. He had to back off since the car was going lean. This was on a bridgeported FD motor. It was really insane. I can only imagine what kind of HP this will put out on a full pass on the dyno.

The master power GT45 is a 70mm front wheel
with a big turbine wheel

but the GT42 has upto a 76mm wheel
and thats the one you want for over 600 HP

I bought a GT45 and then re sold it
pretty sturdy

but I rather pay more for a garrett

the masterpower one isnt BB turbo
the car could make way more power this is a very very safe tune since it is a street car driven to and from the track as well..
Ive seen masterpower turbos blow apart and parts wind up insdei the engine. buy garrett and get a warrenty and a quality turbo

I still want to see the 730whp dyno sheet! I have heard great things about the GT42R from Groundzero Motorsports in Oregon. They have put up some insane numbers as well. If I remember right they even make a custom FD LIM to help deal with the size of the GT42.

there is 2 diffrent GT47's tho

looks identical to the GT42 just BIGGER

it would be the perfect turbo for a 3 rotor
maybe even a full out race 13B with a heavy shot of n20
Yep, when my hks T51r kai gets maxed out this winter, I'll be switching to Davinci's DR88mm (same flange as the gt42) 1300hp capable turbo.

It should spool fine with a hit.

Yeah, I will be putting a small shot on the GT47.

The DR88mm seems to be close in size to the GT47 turbo.

same flange as a gt42? you mean its a t6 (thumper)? There's lots of turbos using the thumper flange, quite common for big displacement diesel engines. But the gt42 is also available as a t4 tho..
