I originally angled mine but it wasn't enough. I used the other pipe with the bends on it and still not enough. I grinded down the turbo snail and used the bent pipe and it clears fine now. I don't know if I will have a clearance issue with the strait pipe on the block but I will deal with that later on when it's in the bay.

Where are you going to hook the coolant lines to on your engine from the turbo? Just wondering.. I need to do the same on my TII Engine.. Thanks

stock coolant lines are right there next to the turbo...on a REW block/filler neck,

ATPturbo sells a 5* drain line.

My drain is angled toward the fender some...and makes a big swooping curve to the block.

So with all this talk about the size of oil drain line, let me ask a quick question.

Can your oil drain line be too large? I know too small is bad and causes smoking problems but I have not heard anything about going too large. Probably not an issue since its gravity fed an all. But I thought I should ask.

Thanks,
Joe

The only thing I can think of is if some are installed not taking the most direct route, a larger diameter hose would be more suseptable to getting kinked. There's no advantage so stay with whatever comes with the kit.

Thanks for the reply. That was kind of what I was thinking.

One problem, mine didn't come as a kit and I'm currently replacing the rubber one my builder put on with an SS line.

Thanks Again,
Joe
