i see more and more newbies coming in here an talking about strapping on T88s and HKS T51Rs, and they just bought the car. someone with two posts asking "Did anybody know how many hp greddy T88 turbo can product?" and someone that just got an FD that asks "How much for 20B 3-rotor conversion?" just shows you the type of people that are now buying FDs. people that have NO research under their belt and want 500+ RWHP to go as fast as the cars in Fast and the Furious.

sorry fd3s800, not a personal attack to you. just waht has been going on in the FD scene lately.

Hey just cause people have a couple of posts on this forum dosen't mean that we are ignurant. I dont you did say that to the word but thats what your saying. I have been reading posts here for a while and just recently signed up. Sorry, but it really pisses me off when people slam on other people that they dont know. I have the same love for my fd as much as the next guy. Also isn't this a place to ask questions about our fds. I am sure that when joined you ask stupid **** to some people but to me and others we are just learning. No offense!!!!:1party:

I do agree with your statement. Noobs with big turbos don't really last long with their cars but I thought this forum was a resource and not a flame forum. I don't speak for everyone else here but if a fellow Rex owner wanted to ask me questions that I could answer I'd do my best to help him. But that's just me though.

depends on what u want to do to it man.out of the box it can support 1200hp but not on a rex.depends on how fuel u can flow to it.depends if its custom built or not.but if u buy a t88 turbo get the one made by feed.just as much hp as greddy of course but without the lag.will spool almost like a t78.hey man dont listen to that dick dude. he was in ur place at one so were we all.u gotta learn some how bud. hes just cuz ur goin straight to the good turbos instead of starting with cheap and smaller ones.plus this is my 2nd or 3rd post, and its not b/c im new to this its b/c i dont live on this thing and ********** to it loser.
also the other subject nos.
if u use it get about 2 or 3 back up motors.but dont use anymore than a 50 to a 75 shot.yes believe me a 50 shot to ur motor will be more like a 75 shot to a n/a.cuz of the turbo lag is took out or decreased.rotaries love but they also love to blow up.u ever put a hot can under cold water same thing that will happen to ur apex seals.any questions just email me at im4u2figrowt@aol.com and ill shoot u straight
also the t78 or t88 is not a bolt on kit like they say it is,plus u wont get the desired hp out of it until u build the fuel flow and cooling and street porting or this and that.its just not instant power.

And im getting sick of asses like you raggin on the new guys because they dont know alot about the car. You were not born with knowledge of the FD so shut the **** up. Id say his question is doing research. You guys are so quick to yell at people for not using the search function. How hard was it for you to make that reply? Not very. Whats with the statement "just goes to show you what kind of people are buying FD's?" I asked about a T-78 and a 20B 2 years ago when I signed up. Why, because I didnt know and neither did you when you first signed up so STFU and answer the newbies question with a smile on your face.

The T-88 turbo is awesome only if the motor is built. Then the power can be utilized. Its slightly larger than a 78. But if you want streetability I find the T-78, KKK stage 2, T66 ball bearing are all good choices for the street and the track.

There is a point where it's annoying when someone comes on and asks a question about something and all you get is some idiot screaming about using the search button. What the hell is the forum for if all your going to do is search. I asked stupid questions when I first came here like "What is an FD and FC?" and "How do our sequential turbos work - are they like the 300Z twin turbos?" These are stupid questions but I asked these types of questions and learned a lot from the responses. The search button is when people are too ignorant to type in a simple answer to the question and nobody seems to know the answer. Although this poster does seem like the typical FAF fan - just say ......the T88 sin't really recommended for the street but can produce up to 1200 hp but has very, very noticeable lag and should only be used for dragging.....that didn't take long
