Will a n/a rear diff hold it??
Got a question concerning rear ends for 2nd gens. I have a GTUs (4:30 gear set) and was woundwering if it would hold up to 450 hp of turbo motor. Anyone blew up a n/a rear before? What is the weak point of n/a rear ends? (Input shaft, gear set, axles???)

I just snapped the left output shaft of my n/a diff., as soon as I got back into town from spring break...I snapped the right one back in Nov.. Wasn't doing anything outrageous to it either, just a quick shift into 2nd. Of course I'm also running a TII engine with 4 puck clutch and racing pressure plate, with 215/45/17 yoko's potenzas.

You can put the 4.30s in the Turbo 2 rear end you get. There is a local guy that did it and then he ended up selling the car 2 months after doing it I can get the info if you are interested, it is not to bad to do.
