there's not enough load on the dyno that's why it's doing that...

 

dynapak uses time variant load instead of stead state load. so the pull is based on how long you want the engine sweep through the rpm. In the case of Dan's car and most of the car tuned in Delware that weekend, the time was set to 8 secs from 3k rpm to 7.5krpm.
