Got re-tuned!!

Went to another shop to see if they could do a better job than the other shop and i was satisfied. Props to Lethal Injection!!!

The tuner was able to get 32 more hp and 21 more lbs of torque at the same amount of boost!!! Well here is the graph the solid line is the line from the shop before and the dotted is the improvement.

the reason being is because it wasn't makin any more power after that and 13b-rew couldn't rev up that high. Thats what he said

hahaha BS. The graph isnt dropping off at all and still making HP.

T66 should be up around the 360+ rwhp mark on 14psi.

It didn't look like your power band had actually peaked at 7125, that could just be a slight hump... that and 14psi is rather low for a t66.

i think your tuner thought he was tuning a sr20, "13b rew can't rev that high". the only difference i see with the old tune and this one, is he made the car leaner. now your first tuner probably was thinking he's making the car safe, not that he didn't do a good job. also sometimes the dyno lies, can't be chasing numbers all the time. just my 2 cents.

hmm ill be interested to see what my t66 will do once on with stock ports.

z

oh and if i remember right the stock ports are "tunned for 7200 peak" so if you have a large street something isnt right. and tune that beast to 8500!

Check the regional forum for your area and search on 'Steve Kan' for tuning services. Also search on cew's posts on tuning since he is a very knowledgeable person in that area.

the comment about "mostly stay together" was meant to say that you risk blowing your motor with poor tuning. Its like being a little pregnant.
