I take it this is for an FD (forgot to check your profile before I hit reply). Your stock compression ratio should be fine under most normal street boost levels. It is only when you get into some serious high pressure levels that you need to upgrade by putting in the lower compression S4 TII rotors. Not sure what this number is, but I'm sure with <24psi you will be fine on stock FD rotors.

How much boost do you want to run, and/or how much power did you want to make?

For a fuel pump the Walbro 255lph pump is one of the most popular and comman upgrades. You can get this pump almost anywhere.
Lots of guys also choose the Rotary Performance pump as well. Here is a link to their webpage selling it: http://www.rx7.com/cgi-local/3catalog.cgi?cat=11&part=1

Don't forget to upgrade your fuel lines and injectors as well. There isn't a set rwhp figure at which they usually need upgraded, but I recommend anything over 450rwhp and most guys recommend around 375-500. Just be safe and do them.

For injectors that kind of depends on how much boost you are going to run. I assume you will be running a comman street boost level for a T78 of between 15-24 psi. To do this, your secondary injectors will need to be upgraded to 1200 or 1300 or 1600cc units (fuel rail as well). You can leave the stock 550cc primaries in if you tune it properly. Many guys leaves them in there, but many upgrade and put their 850cc secondaires in place - this is what I would do. It should also be noted that they are not a straight bolt into the primary position, but it is not very hard to modify it for them to fit.
To sum it up I suggest the 850/1200 setup with the 550/1600 setup being a good option as well.

Oh ****, I just realised you already have the fuel requirements!! Damn, well I don't want to type that out for nothing, someone browsing can read it maybe!!!

Is your engine still internally stock? It's well worthwhile to give the engine a streetport and rebuild before you put on the single turbo kit. It will be more reliable, last longer, and make more power.

my motor is stock i did a caompression test on it and the needle bounced to 90 each time on the rear rotor one guy told me that was good i made 305hp to the wheels on like 13-14lbs with no extra fuel improvments except the powerfc tuned i might go t04e for right know and then get an extra motor build it and then run t78 any suggestions let me know
thanks

Check out some of the ball bearing turbos out there. They spool really fast and work out great for the street as well as strip. I made 340rwhp at just 12psi with my GT3540 turbo. Stock motor. I get 18 psi by 4500 rpm. Its a nice turbo. I wouldnt have it any different.

I don't think that BB turbos are comman enough yet to justify the cost. They are still uncomman enough that you have to pay WAY more for a turbocharger, and the performance gain is about 500-600 rpm sooner spoolup. Not good $$ for results ratio in my opinion.
Maybe in a few years the price difference will drop - or the standard for turbocahrgers will become BB units, and that would be nice to help drive the cost down.
Some BB turbos are not reuildable as well.

I'm doing the same conversion. I had planned on getting a T78 and a greddy front mount. I also planned on getting a walbro pump with 550 primaries and 1600 secondaries.
I would like to know what others think on this setup or any other possible setups.

What kind of computer and intercooler are most people running with this setup. I was thinking of going with a Greddy 2 row FMIC and also a TEC-3.
Anybody else running this setup or have a better suggestion?

i believe both pieces are different in the T88 kit. that is just hearsay though. i never had them side by side to compare but they manifolds looked slightly different and i think the downpipe is even bigger.... but that is unconfirmed and i could be totally wrong
