t78 dyno

one of my friend dyno his t78 today 296@9lbs of boost at 6500 rpm.
We ony went to 9lbs, because his HKS evc would not let him turn the boost up, and also his A/R was 11.8.

mods are:
big streetport
pfc, 1300cc
midpipe,exhaust
pfs smic, t78
upgrade fuel pump

I'm guessing he means A/F ratio. If not then I'd like to know what he's using to spool an 11.8 A/R.

He said at 6500. He should be able to make alot more power past 6500 with that turbo.

We now have a good example of what 100 shot of NOS does on a dyno.

Hmm, well I'd have to say that 8psi isnt within the efficiency range of a T78 haha

Why did he get a T78??? Cause it was big or did he do some calculations to make sure it would be the best turbo for his set up. Just curious

Doesn't anyone use the correction factor? It would make comparing dyno runs alot better.....IMO.

We know the truth Jason.....As for NOS, I wish I had it. You guys can't admit the T78 is not that great of a turbo. It doens't make good power. For street its fine, but the strip for get it. If you want Power the T88 is a better choice.

Tell that to Titan motorsports. A turbo only goes as far as you are willing to take it.

Let me ask you guys a question....What do I have to gain from lieing to you guys? Nothing. In fact it would probably benifit me more if I didn't tell you how I make more power than you. But I don't, I figure I'd be a nice guy and instead of being grateful, your going to be a bunch of little panzies. It doesnt matter to me, I'll just be the first one to the finish line...
