Question going single this weekend, please help!

I am installing my apexi rx6 single this weekend and was wondering if anyone could help me out. does anyone have any pictures, diagrams, or helpful hints on what tubes i take out/ keep? i know i have to take out all solinoids under the intake manafold except for the last one with the orange plug, but which tubes do i keep? any info would be great, i tried a search and found minimal info on this subject. thanks

if you keep calling yourself satan's 7 you won't get many dates and continue to endure single weekends. Also take a shower that helps.

You can take out a bunch solenoids, but you don't have to. The RX6 instructions don't tell you to remove any solenoids except for the PC / WG duty solenoids on the front of the extension manifold.

I know you are probably interested on which ones you can remove, but I just want it to be clear that it isn't a necessary part of the installation. I still have all my solenoids (except PC/WG) so it would be easy to switch back if I, um, needed to for any reason.

It took me 6-8 hours to install the kit. The hardest part is removing the stock turbos.

Lucky you. I "would" be going single this weekend but alas my single is out being repaired, sigh...can you tell I'm bitter? :-)

Rotorbrain, you're saying the entire rat's nest can be removed? It's been a lifelong dream of mine to do so. I know there was someone who had a web site detailing a single installation. Rob's site? Can't remember off hand...

Unless you have an aftermarket FPR, you'll have to keep the orange solenoid in the far back.

Thanks for the replies everyone, the kit went in fairly easily once i got rolling, i had a few problems but nothing huge, now just have to get it tuned and i should be on my way. I decided to keep the solinoids in and just plug everything for now. I just had one question, can anybody help me out with one vacuum conection, i was unsure on the ic pipe to the oil injection line? not sure where the oil injection vacuum line comes from, anybody know?
thanks

Out of curiosity, what were some of the problems you ran into during the installation?

A few stupid things becuase of rushing, took me a while to figure out how to tighten down the bolts from downpipe to turbo, because of the position they were in, but mostley problems with figuring out vacuum hose conections and two large ports in the intake pipe(one goes to air pump, and the other i still dont know) Its kinda hard since the instructions are in japanese The last prob was the length of the intercooler pipe, i have an m2 large intercooler and the intercooler pipe that comes with the kit is not designed for my intercooler, so i sort of had to hack it up a little, no biggie
