Whicj kit would you guys honestly get if the price were the same??? According to the dyno charts I have seen, they both spool about the same but the 35/40 makes more top end power... Has any one compared the 35/40 to the RX6 Apexi kit as far as lag goes. I had the Apexi kit on my last FD and it spooled as fast as the twins, I couldnt tell the difference, but I only made 355rwhp at 14.2 psi with no porting..

My Dyno sheet shows 10 less Hp than my stock twins at 2700 rpms. Everything above that is all GT3540. I made 404 hp on 15.5 psi with stock Reman motor. I am dyno tuning the New Motor tomorrow. This is now a Large Street Ported motor so I expect better Numbers. We will know tomorrow night if all goes well. Both Turbos are nice. I think the GT3540 Garrett is a bit better because of better GT Series Compressor wheels. Either way you can make over 400 HP on Pump gas to the wheels. I would go with whatever you could get the better deal on. I hear the New manifold for the GT3540 will make more power and spool yet even faster From Sean at A-spec tuning. Its a great time to buy that Kit from them now that its been improved from an already great kit. Dual Ball bearing turbos have an advantage but are expensive to rebuild/replace.

If you are interested, I have a Brand Spankin new Garrett GT35 Ball bearing turbo alone in box. PM me for details. You will have to piece together the rest, Manifold, wastegate, etc..... I guarantee you'll save a lot of $$.

Where are you getting the gt35/40 making more top end power? I compared quite a few cars and found about the same results for each one accross the board. I think that both are capable of around the same about of power. It just depends on whether you want ball bearing or not.

i was under the impression that the T04S was capable of 600hp (with proper tuning of course) where-as the GT35/40 spooled quicker but was capable of slightly less top end power.... mind you i havent compared dyno sheets this is just what i have been told by those knowledgable in the field

Will the GT40R (i think thats it) that a-spec tuning is brinign in going to be more along the lines of a T78 with little more lag but slightly higher HP capabilities. Where as the gt35/40 can be better compared with the T04S
