Going Back to single!
Well I'm going to be coming back...sweet.
Well My questions for the well knowledged are...
1. I'll be getting the Apex Single... plan on around 390 to the wheels... can I still use my 850 pri. and 850 secondary setup or do I need the 1600's? (sidenote: the 1300's claimed a couple of my nice motors due to a sticking one)
2. The line that runs between the UIM and oil filler... how do I do the catch can setup on it or should I just get rid of it?
3. I know I need only a few vac. lines. Which are they? (I know UIM to FPR.... whatelse?)
4. Does anyone have a PFC map for apex single, apex FMIC, jacobs box w/ coil and wires, mild street port, RP fuel pump, 850's all around?
TIA everyone,
-R

yes you need injectors...the 1300s are at their limit around there if you are running the other two stock size.
im at 85 percent capacity at 381rwhp
youre insane to get another map though...get the datalogit and do it right homie!

Catch can setup is simple. Cap off the PCV and vent the crank at the top of the oil filler cap. I'll try to post the pic of my new crank vent system.
Old system vented from the oil fill cap to a vented catch can with a K&N breather. New system vents from oil fill cap through a larger hose (1/2" id) to a catch bottle which is vented to the intake of my single turbo. I much prefer routing the catch can vent to the intake to prevent the smell of gas/oil following full boost runs.

oh shutup I'm NOT going to go back to the injectors that Rich has in his car. Plus things will be better tuned.

I was thinking of going with the AST removal and using my Pettit AST as a catch can. What do you guys think of that? If it would work good I could just run one side nipple to the oil filler neck nipple then the other side nipple over to the intake. Then the nipple on the bottom of the ast I'd just weld up....or maybe run it back to the oil pan as a drain line, then I wouldnt need to dump it out every so often
Course then there's the whole issue of me running with the ast elim but thats really a different thread haha
