I would say that it is a "bolt on process". Make sure the turbo has adequate oil supply, and nothing is stressed or rubbing on one another. I little common sense should get it done.

not to start a bunch of quaility fights but $495 is a cheap start for a full to4. Just running around getting different size bolts, nuts, and washers for my setup has cost me money here and there but more important it has cost me time. And my time is worth more than that.
I would just get this kit with the attitude of if this breaks I will replace it. So if the manifold cracks, replace it with something else. Turbo not large enuff, sell it for 200 bucks and buy something larger. So on and so forth but the moral of the story is even if you get a year out of it that is one hell of package for 500 bucks.

It's junk, look at the turbo description. It's all a bunch of BS jargon, its NOT a 60-1 for sure. So for $500 you get what, an iffy manifold, a junk turbo, a questionable wastegate/bov, and a downpipe with some oil fittings. Oh wait, no you don't even get a downpipe... or an IC pipe. Talk about having to run around getting other stuff fabricated and wasting time.
People, you get what you pay for. Buy a turbo kit from a reputable shop or from a big name company (HKS,Greddy, etc.).

that ad is deceptive by using key turbo words and descriptions... its deceptive at the very least, who nows actually what youre getting?????...
doesnt look like a Garrett turbo to me.. do you actually think garrett would warranty that??? they would laugh at the person.
Turbo looks like it something from China or Brazil... personally i dont believe anything in those ads.

NO 60-1 has a 7-paired impeller, that one shows 8. Its most likely a T04B wheel in an H or V trim (smaller then 60-1).
So, some of you are willing to buy a POS manifold, turbo, wg, and bov to save money and time. But when the **** breaks, your also willing to spend MORE money and MORE time fixing it or buying replacement parts (read TURBO, manifold, wg, bov, and maybe even ENGINE because that POS wg stuck)?? Sounds counter productive to me. Ohh yeah sure, when the manifold cracks I'll just get a better one right? Well DAMN IT, now the dp wont work, my oil feed and return lines are to short, I have to make another pipe from the turbo to the intercooler etc etc. Whatever floats your boat man, but it sounds MORE expensive and MORE time consuming to buy something you know will fail early and is just plain junk to save in initial cost.
I like to do things correctly the first time. And no, this doesn't mean name brands, just quality parts. You need to be able to recognize quality, if you cannot, then stick to name brands for assurance that your getting quality.

I have it, ever since i started running 14psi i think its goin out on me. Lots of stinky smoke. And im at about 3,100 miles on it.
Im looking to changing the turbo right now, so im tryin to get prices from everyone for something bigger. This thing is puny. I hate it.
Theres a video of it here:

I suggest either buying just the manifold and your own turbo and wastegate and piecing it together, OR:
This rx7store kit seems very nice and affordable. I wish i woulda gone with this from the beginning. http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/62-1%20kit.htm
