i was going to originally do the 9.7:1 rotors but decided that was going to be a lil too much with the turbo im running, plus it gets super hot here in florida and didn't want to have to worry about it all the time.

as far as the primary ports go im happy with were they are. i'm going to try this motor and if i don't like it i can always go bigger. but i wil be posting up more pics soon of everything as it goes together

One of the main points from my post of, there is no new risk using 9.7:1 because the compression number itself is way more accurate and consistent I personally don't think its gonna make very much difference to the peak number. Where its gonna shine is part throttle when filling is poor, and on throttle tip in when you want to accelerate the turbo as fast as possible.

jobro. when you have made an engine produce more the 5rwhp. i would then be telling people what to do. My cosmo engine produces over 700rwhp and my runners are untouched. Still cast. Their are benefits in doing it. BUT MOST BENEFITS ARE IN PORT TIMING.

haha **** off. Its closer to 300hp available from 5500rpm. New goal is 410hp with even fatter powerband. Not budging from 91octane unless i have to.

You are criticising me for taking a scientific approach to my engine builds / tune. Without science, a mechanic/tuner's job is nothing more than monkey see monkey do or trial and error. And I do not plan on using a 20 year period to test all the **** I wanna know about, so I'm basing my design on test results I believe and science. You may have access to more tuner types, well I have a lot more access to real bachelor graduate engineers and even a couple of doctorate electrical engineers, and a doctorate scientist (electrical and mechanical) than you by a long way and a lot more skills in determining the bullshit from the fact. You have not supplied a movie of your car achieving 140+mph terminal speed, so your claim of 700rwhp is 100% unproven at this stage.

btw Omar I give it to you, your advice on s5 injector spray pattern they spray mint just like you said. And you were right about the IDA being nowhere near as bad as everyone says. Mine is sorted and its back to nearly same fuel economy as s5 intake

I always criticise you for your theoritical approach. While what your saying may be correct lots of your theory has wholes in it. You assume too much. you need to do more real testing and test your theories before making recommendations.

I will stick to being a monkey and actually delivering results.
