Has any of u guys ever made a custom tree for your dual fuel pumps? This is all I need to get my 7 rolling,

 

You could always cut one down in the woods, but if you need a TEE then this is your ticket

For the outside that's fine. I used a brass Y hose barb for inside the tank.

 

I used a very good composite Y with hose barbs for mine. You don't want to use a Tee.

 

I've heard of barbed fittings/worm gears failing on in-tank setups, by the rubber hose splitting. Might not happen to everyone, but it's something to consider. 60+ psi at the regulator is the same 60+ psi at the pump outlet. I used the purple Magna Y-fitting.

 

Yeah the rubber hose ins't fuel safe on the outside. So over time it deteriorates. They sell hose that is safe for in tank setups, I also coated mine with a fuel safe coating.

 

I cut the whole thing apart and welded my own Y pipe. I made it to the exact distance of the pumps sitting in the tank. Pretty much it had 6an fittings ontop with 3/8" feed and return hardlines welded in.

I wasn't happy with the aftermarket Y unions so that's why I built my own. Took me about half a day to do it all but if you're not too skilled just buy the CJ Motorsports kit.

 

quick and easy way is to just use bulkhead 90* fittings through the sending unit, one pump on each bulkhead fitting, then Y them outside the tank. I got some bulkhead fittings that were a double ferrule compression fitting, then used hardline to the pumps.
