Neat set up.... are you at all worried about a rock or some other road debris smashing your intercooler?

So are you going to close off the sides inbetween the radiator and IC? Have you driven with this setup? Curious as to how well it works vs a fmic..

Is that a Volvo Intercooler?

That looks exactly like mine, but mine has paint and every other one I have seen is painted.

How did you clean it of the paint??

I can tell you that it is a Volvo intercooler and he does have plans to block off the sides.

stupid dog.... needless to say i'm on my second intercooler and a new front bumper because of that.

mine came to me clean like that Aircraft remover will clean the fins but dont get it on the end caps it will eat though them.

I'm in the process of ducting it and routing it though the hood. I've driven it and thus far it works great! I can't imagine what its going to be like when I'm done Its going to be a wile though, the motor blew wile we where tuning it. Apparently a certin rotary bussiness in NC can't port properley and made all 4 of my ports different sizes giving a impossiable to control a/r between the two rotors.

I've got to restart my work on my hood as well, it fell over and busted the fiberglass up. Its no big loss, i wasn't that far on it anyway. Anyone in the area that is good at fiberglass and wants to help let me know
