Enough spark?
Getting ready for a boost project on my ol' FB.
I have the ancient 12a (Imagine finding turbo info on that) that has about 20k on the rebuilt motor as it sits. The ignition goes like this:
1980 Distributor (electronic with no ignitors on it)
MSD 6T box
2nd Gen Leading coils
NGK BR7EQ plugs on leading (no trailing spark)
Would this be enough spark to not blow out at about 1 bar? I will be running either a S5 TII turbo or one that is identical to it.

I would go colder plugs, 9 heat range would do you better for 1 bar. The S5 turbo won't be doing much but heating the air at that boost also. What kind of power are you shooting for?
I'd say you have enough spark

So with the spark I will produce, hopefully it will not blow out?
Anyone else with some input would be great. Here is a video of my ignition before I tore the bay down:

On the misfire issue, listen for misfire and check the plug. You have your dizzy locked?
BNR stage 2 seems overkill. Why not just run a stock s5 turbo and manifold (if they fit)? It'll spool quick and can flow enough for a 12A.
