Dynatech Insert Cones
I just Installed a dynomax bullet presilencer, and a magnaflow muffler for my 3" exhaust. Even though it made things a little quieter and sounds deep, Its still a bit too loud for me.
I'm wodering if anyone here is using a one of these?

I guess my other option would be the Apexi ATS, but I'm not sure If I can use it with my Magnaflow muffler.
Thanks
Luis

I run a Borla XR1 race muffler and an Apex'i N1. The borla where the cat normally goes. It's not stock quiet, but the quietest I've seen. that is until the wastegate opens.

Is it it still N/A, or did you add the turbo already?

I'd dump the bullet and pick up another magnaflow (14x9 or 16x9)"oval" as your presilencer. That will quiet your car down much more and make a world of difference compared to the dynomax bullet.

Have you taken a look at the Car Chemistry Insert:
http://www.carchemistry.com/shop/ind.../id/1/subid/7/
I may be getting one of these if my setup is too loud.

I don't think it needs to be welded in... maybe?
As for the decibal changes, unfortunately, they did not take measurements of the muffler body without the packing for comparison.
But it does show that a hollow muffler (muffler body) kind of like a straight pipe, with the insert shows similar db levels as the standard mufflers.
Seems to be promising; I will ask them if they can make a special one that has a flange that works with our exhaust (2 hole type) instead of the 3 hole type they have on their site. That way you could just unbolt your exhaust after the midpipe/cat, slip it in and bolt it back up.
