Talking Dont know what size turbo to go with?

I have a 93 RX-7 with a big street port and i was wondering what size turbo i should go with i was thinking a 60-1 from turbonetics. I want to be able to produce about 450whp and want something that will spool quickly. im also looking for something with a T4 exahust flange cause i intend on getting the HKS cast iron mani cause i get it really cheap . im also unsure what injectors size to go with ive heard of going all 1000cc or 850cc/1200cc. This is a first time thing for me and im kinda in the dark so any help would be appreciated.
Thanx
Garrett

I'd look into A-Spec's 500R kit.

I'd recommend a lot more research before converting to single. A-spec's kit is nice but it seems you're looking for a "budget" single setup. A 60-1 will spool quickly but may be just shy of your 450whp goal (at least on pump gas and stock ports). A 720/1680 injector setup (along with an upgraded pump)should handle your HP target.

A lot more than just the turbo kit is required to run in the 450whp range though. Check the single turbo archive for soem more details.

You r right i am looking for a "fairly priced" turbo set up. The A-spec's kit is a very nice kit but not for $3600. i get most my stuff at wholesale price thats why i chose to put together a kit myself. Im just wondering wat size turbo to go with for a quick spool and put me in that 450whp range.

also not a "price sensitive choice", but a very good one. I would have gone with a GT35RT4 from a-spec if I had had the cash.

I went with a 62-1 BB instead and on a large street port I get 450whp at 16psi with a .88 hotside. I'm stepping up to a 1.15 and going for 500whp at 18psi on pump gas. The .88 hot side is just too snappy. I'm constantly in boost, which kills my daily driving.
