Correct GAP for B10EGV's

I think they are gapped .022 out of the box.

I hear .025-.030 is the rule of thumb...

Can anyone using these plugs confirm that?

Thanks,
-Darren-

I've heard anywhere from .030-.035

I've run EGV's and EIX's at .032

I just pulled my 9/10 EGV setup after less than 1000miles and found a severely worn down electrode. I think the MSD box is too much for them.

I have been running them as they come (.22) for the last 2 years - about 4 sets so far I think. I have never heard anyone talking about a different gap...What difference would you expect between .32 and .22? Power? Longevity?

Thanks!

it depends on how much amp and coil you are using as well as if you are running water or alcohol as AI... you want to run as much gap as you can.

between 22 and 33

Excellent info....I am running stock coils, hks twin power and 93 octane. No water, etc. What do you think I should run Howard?

What benefit does running them wider give?

What symptoms would running them too wide give?

Thanks,

too wide = high speed miss

wider = equals more mixture exposed to ignition

w your setup i would run 22-25
