Choosing injectors

Hey guys I'm trying to make 400-450 hp in my fc. Now I'm trying to choose my injectors and I know I'm running id725 primaries but I can't decide on secondaries. Shpuld I run 1200 or 1600 secondaries and does anyone know who makes 1200 or 1600cc injectors that will fit an fc fuel rail

Go check out FFE (Fullfunctioneng.com) and get their fuel rails.

You'll probably want 1600+ secondaries. I know that I was getting higher up in the IDC range when I ran 469whp with 850/1600cc injectors with my FD.

Thanks Fendamonky!

We're going to be doing a sale on FC rails soon actually..

PM us. We can do ID2000 packages with rails or set them up to fit your stock rails as well.

Absolutely! You guys certainly took care of me during my build this winter and were SUPER patient/understanding with my questions, concerns, and accidental ordering of the wrong size stands, etc.

I'd not hesitate to recommend you guys to anybody that asks both because your products are top notch, and your customer service (in my experience) is as well

I get it as well, it's probably just something odd to do with a program they used to build it though.

I turn off browser protection before going there and have never had problems.

I am running a PT6265.

When I made that power my engine had enlarged intake ports (of questionable quality since they were catching my side seals, among other problems) with stock exhaust ports. My tb is enlarged and my uim/lim were both extrude honed then teflon coated on the interior for increased flow. I trashed that entire engine and started fresh (with a new, not reman, engine from mazda) with a motor that Speed1 ported for me, we stacked and installed it in my garage. Otherwise I have a solid VMIC, a 4" exhaust (still had a 3" DP for those numbers) and I'm running 50/50WM.

I was using the PFC as well, but I now have zero intention of trusting that ECU over 400whp. As such I'll run wastegate until I can change ECUs. I'm just at a stand still right now because money, and my lack of it! Lol

No one ever talks about the harness adapters required to run these aftermarket injectors, do you sell them FFE?

When I bought my injectors from FFE they came with everything needed to connect the injetors to my harness.

The injectors come with crimp-on connectors. We do sell the plug-and-play adapters but don't stock all combinations. PM or email us and we can get you set up.

Bosch 1700cc Injectors

There's a new generation Bosch 160lb or 1700cc injector. I've been running 4 X ID1000s at 75 PSI base pressure to get a little extra flow, but I'm thinking I might be better off with 4 of these 1700cc injectors at a typical 43.5 PSI base pressure.

I ran 4 of the old school 1680cc injectors, and their poor linearity at low pulsewidths made street driveability poor. These new injectors show excellent linearity, like the ID1000s.

Is anybody using these? Are they similar to the ID1600s that used to be available? Impressions?

BTW -- I need to use 4 identical injectors, since the dead time comp on my ECU can't be set independently for the primaries and secondaries.

I'd stick with the ID1000's at high pressure for now. Those are incredibly temperature sensitive which is why ID discontinued them. The new ID1300's will be available shortly also.

Can you elaborate on the temperature sensitivity? What issue(s) did it cause?

How soon will the ID1300s be available?

I see the ID1300s are available on the Injector Dynamics site. Any user feedback?

I got EV14's / Bosch High IMP injectors from southbayinjectors.com

ended up being 440 shipped using coupon code Tuned for the set of 2 1000cc injectors, 2 2200cc injectors and adapters.
