You'll need to modify it to fit a TO4. The exhaust housing will hit the LIM. Wither use a spacer inbetween the manifold and the block, or cut off the flange and angle it away a few degrees.

Well, the quality is VERY good. I think the design was built off a TII with a TO4.. and that's why the damn thing hits the LIM of a FD... Don't really know though. I have that manifold. Paid 170.00 shipped for it off ebay (SSAUTOCHROME). Spent MAYBE a hundred bucks on fabrication and now I have a great manifold. so maybe 300 bucks in the hole total..

Not sure why it's advertised as a T4 thats for a FD still.. that annoys me. But, at any rate.. a few bucks and a headache and this is what you get....

Here's the flange.. Re-welded with a little angle to clear the exhaust housing from the LIM...

And a little adapter made for the Wastegate.. Since the one that comes on the manifold is the old HKS style... Which is very uncommon... This helps clear the Downpipe past the firewall..

Not too bad though.. I'm sure I'll hit the numbers I want, and save a few bucks doing it.

Have you done much research as far as coating the exhaust housing, there seems to be a higher failure rate on turbos that are coated. It seems it keeps to much heat in.

The guys at Garrett didn't seem to think there would be a problem.. Personally I can't see it keeping *that* much heat in... But I'm sure it's possible. I guess we'll see.

Once I get it together I'm taking it to Bi-State and having them make the Downpipe... Probably just mod my old one.
