Question cartech air/water IC Questions...

I just picked up an 87 TII that is need of a new engine, (race motor on the way...) It looks like it has a pretty extensive air/water IC on it made by cartech. the part mounted on the manifold says " cartech two-stage intercooler". The whole setup consists of TWO front mounted radiators side by side spanning about the whole width of the car, 2 separate pumps, the exchanger on the intake and i believe there is supposed to be a resevoir where 4 of the hoses just end way up front. there are 2 ins and 2 outs on the exchanger, and it looks like there is one pump and radiator for both the front and back halves of it. from what I've found, air/water units are supposed to be about 7times as efficient as the same size air/air IC. I do although do some autocross and the ocasional lapping event at a track. Does anyone have any experience with this system? I will be driving this car daily(during the summer anyway) and pretty much want to know if it would be worthwhile to get the couple missing links to this setup of if i should scrap it for an air/air unit. Also, if it wont work for my application, it will be for sale! In that case I'd also take a trade for an air/air setup, even though I'm sure this one is worth more... Any advise would be appreciated!

Do you have any pics? When I upgrade the turbo on my FC I want to use an air/water setup. I doub't I'll be able to buy it any time soon, but I'd like to at least see some pictures of it to give me some ideas.
