Can't change my boost levels w/Profec
Hello,
I was going to the RX7Store this past week to tune my car and the car started overboosting (About 15psi). So I powered off the old Profec A and it still overboosted? So I left and went home only to rip out the Profec A. At this point my car was boosting @ a weak 5 - 6 psi (Again without any boost controller installed and the stock system disabled- Unpluged and not hooked up). Then I bought a new Profec B, installed it and now I am boosting @ 10 - 11 PSI (About where I want to be), but the boost doesn't change whether the controller is on or off. The only other item that is acting strange is my boost guage in that it shows boost correctly, but little to no vaccum at idle (Maybe just a bum gauge).
My mods are as follows:
1989 TII
Stock (No porting)
Stock primaries Greddy 720 secondaries
SAFCII
PRofec (A & B) B is currently installed
Racing beat full exhaust
Custom TID (With a cone filter)
Cold weather AWS/CWA removed
Block off plates installed K2RD set
Ideas?
