Fellas I have an issue with one of my injectors. It was installed today and for some reason it is leaking. The injectors were cleaned, tested, oiled, and then sat in a baggie for over a year. For some reason it is constantly dumping fuel. Has anyone experienced this before and if so what was the cause and remedy?

 

Sitting for a long time can make them stick.. Usually from what I hear, they stick CLOSED, but I guess it's possible..

 

It's just stuck I think. give it a gentle poke on tip with your fingernail or VERY carefully with a small screwdriver and it might become unstuck. The better thing to do would be to send it out to be professionally cleaned again, but I'm cheap!

You can also try soaking the tip in gasoline (not the whole thing, just the tip).
