Can Manifold for Td06 be used with GT 35/40

I am looking at picking up a FD, that has a TD06 turbo kit. Doesn't this turbo have the T/3 footprint? and if so, can't I just bolt up a gt 35/40 bolt directly to the manifold?

Thanks for the help

David

As far as i know if it has a T3 foot print then you should be able to bolt up the GT35/40 the only problem i could see happening is the larger turbo not clearing the block due to the fact that a smaller turbo will not need a manifold to be set as far out.
Just a thought

The downpipe itself will need to be changed, I've seen both these kits side by side and they are pretty close but the 35/40 might need a hair more room.
