Bridge ported ONLY !!!.
o.k. here's the update , I went home and tried Rices' suggestions and , sure enough the battery was dead before it even began to" think" about starting , so being at the end of "my rope" , I got a pick-up truck and decided to tow it to a garage where I could get the guys to spend time on it and get it started ( I ALWAYS have to go to work) for me .On the way I thaught about what GEARHEAD suggested , so I put it in second gear and let off the clutch ..........., guess what the Mudda F..er !! started up not once but three separarte times , three times because it wouldnt idle , so I guess I need to adjust make so adjustments on the maps etc to get it to maintain the idle and "rev out " cleaner , this was also rough with lots of blue smoke coming out the exhaust .
The engine starts pretty easily now once it is towed , it still doesnt start on the key , would this be because I havn't put any miles on it yet ?, do I need to 'break in" the engine before it can start normally ? .I have to shange out the thrust bearings before I take it out to be "run in" .
Marcell It should realy start unless you are way off on the cranking fuel mixture...... after the tow start.
I forgot about the base settings, are they all new for your combination that you are running now ?. Can you get some maps that are close for the combination you are running now from somebody, maybe if you post em (your set up) someone may give some input on the mapping so at least you can start it without "tow truck assistance"
I am sorry if I have forgoten your engine details, but if you post up injectors, static fuel pressure etc, then hope fully you can get some assistance in the mapping, you are running a Haltech right ?

Hey Marcel, so yuh on de right track so far ? I ain't hearing from yuh , I'm jus seeing yuh ca in the garage whenever I pass on the road. Try to change that thrust bearing setup and get on the road, and do some nice mileage now. Maybe yuh should think about servicing that starter, after all the stress it has been thru.
Marcell, you should not be having this many problems with starting your car and keeping it running, i have used normal non bridge maps and still been able to start them easily. if you get it started and it idles on its own at around 1300 rpms for a few minutes. it should continue to start with no problems! as long as you dont have a fuel pressure leak ( is your pressure holding??) it should not flood. i hate to be the bearer of bad news but i would start thinking about pulling the engine back out and see what the problem is
what seals are you using? if they are 2mm and not Mazda seals i would go with the 3pc 2mm stock ones. they WILL make higher compression and the car will start easier. good luck to ya!!

ok. thanks , I still havent driven it to "break in' the engine , cause I have a bad bearing that I need to change , if it doesnt start after this I am pullin out the motor .
OK , update time , I got so fed up that I pulled the motor out and opened it up , guess what , The clearance left (by me ) between the side and corner seals was too big and I could see where the gas was getting past and I also fucked up the thrust bearings at the front . I sent the motor off to one of our local pros to fix everything that I did wrong.
I put back in the motor today and started it up by towing it down the road ( I am not prepared to waste more time doing it the "normal way" ) , it starts pretty easily , sounds real strong ,but my mixture is off a bit ' cause its sooting a bit , I will get that sorted out , also I got it to idle for about two minutes before it stalled and refused to start on the key , tell me something guys , how long does it have to idle before it would start without pickup truck assistance ?.

O.K. since nobody would answer me I went ahed and started up anyway , we got the motor to start (quite easily) and idle at about 2000rpm for about half hour , now it starts easily with the key (although it has only been roughly tuned) and runs great , it has a lot of power , I have the rev limiter set at 5000 and I am already seeing 5psi of boost , I also got the idle down to 1300 rpm with out the idle control working , I hope to get it down to about 11 or 1200rpms.
Still the T70 , P trim 1.15 devided, I decided to try it first at about 23 psi and see what happens ( if I would be able to handle it or not) before I change to anything else .
