Bosch 1600's (rx7store.net)

Are the 1600cc injectors that rx7store.net sells low impedence or high impedence?

I had the stock primaries replaced with 850cc injectors by rotary performance. they highly recommended against the large 1600 cc secondary upgrade

lovemyseven - I've heard many more challenges dealing with 850cc primaries than with 1600cc secondaries...

I've been running 550/1600 for quite a while with no problems with PFC and 10Ohm, 20Watt resistors. I've got a set of 550cc primaries bored to 850cc I'll be installing soon.

yes you can do it. each injector is on its own driver so haltech doesnt care.

Why don't people use the 1680cc injectors from Marren Motorsports? (www.injector.com) $75/ea as opposed to $100+

Reason is you need to get aftermarket rail, and you need to run stand alone like haltech or power fc with a resistor. ended up costing a lot more money .

Do these Bosch injectors fit into the stock secondary injector rail?

I got a set of 1600's from XS Eng and they were a bitch to put in.. they never seated off at all...and yep, broke off the tip of the fuel diffuser thingy and it still couldn'd go far down..they just sorta' dangled there.. I had to make bosses out of teflon for both the top and bottom of th einjectors to get them to work.. then i put in my Cosmo pump to pressure test the system and found out the NEW pump was faucked ! ARGGG..when will it end !

The ones I got from XS were black with RC on it.

RC injectors will bore up to 1300cc only from your stock secondary. i have the bosch 1600cc on the k2rd rail, fit prefectly. which rail did you use?

And this is not the case with the rx7store.net Bosch 1600cc injectors?

you need an aftermarket rail for any top feed injector if you are doing it to an FD. something like this https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=162060
i have seen people rig up their stock rail to work... but it looks like poop imo.

I just installed my kdr fuel rail and now my car won't run for more than a second. I am using a fuel pressure regulator from a 86 ish rx7. Could this be a problem?
