BNR Stage 2 Turbo install: problems?

Okay guys, I have some problems.

I just removed my old stock turbo from my 89 TII. Replaced it with a BNR Stage 2 I bought from a private party. It supposedly has 500 miles on it. There was little to no shaft play on either end before installation and it spun freely. After install my AEM Tru-Boost boost controller worked for a little while and than only started to register -24. Now I have n/a power, it's very hot near the turbo, but the gauge on the dashboard moves. The digital gauge I have does not move. AFRS in "boost" or at least where boost SHOULD be if I was getting it are at safe levels logged via an Innovate LM-1.

I'm going to swap my Tru-Boost out and just run an analog boost gauge with the line looped directly to the wastegate (no boost controller at all) tomorrow and see what happens. While I do this, are there any other things I can check for? Thanks!

Okay so I think my EBC died. I hooked up an analog gauge and my car runs a lightning fast 3psi at wot (because of brian's great wastegate port jobs). I think I'm all set. Thanks at least for the views! >_>
