Blown BW S363 on Half Bridge 13B - Replacement thoughts...

I'm currently running a BW S363 at 14psi on a half bridge REW in my 1993 R1. The center section let go (I think, the car started smoking and the turbo was leaking oil) and I'm currently looking to replace it with either S360 and wanted to get peoples opinions. 400hp is the goal. I also don't have access to a dyno so not changing the tune would be ideal until I can get the car re tuned later this year. I was thinking of running a billet wheeled S360 as I'd love to improve response and don't have any crazy high hp aspirations. Car is currently running an adaptronic ECU and 850/1680 injectors with conservative street tune. Any help is appreciated!

I would just get an s362sxe supercore( reuse your turbine housing) and bolt right in..

I was hoping I would hear from you! Any recommendations on which core to go with? I've got the T4 undivided .88 on my current setup? Should I worry about hitting peak boost sooner with the better turbo?

You should move to the .91 divided if your manifold is also divided. This will give you better response.

I'm looking at the 62mm/76mm 8376 variant. I'm also intersted in the S257SX-E – 57mm Enhanced S200SX-E 7670. Will the turbine housing I have work with either of those? I'll probably pick up the .91 divided housing as well so I can upgrade in the future as I'm not sure if the manifold is divided or not. I spoke with the previous owner and he said that it was a semi cheap manifold with a T3 flange that they ported a little and put a T4 flange on.

Goal number one is to just get a turbo in the car so I can have some fun this summer. Upgrades to come later so I'd like to have the option. Thanks for all of the advice on this!

Cheers,

Tony

S257sx-e is small. I would go with S62 sx-e as Turblown is telling you.
