no the innovative turbos are not genuine GT garret turbos but the turbo uses some garret parts, exhaust housing, rebuild kit compressor wheel.... the dual bb is designed by innovative, the exhaust wheel is also designed by innovative and uses a special center section to use the dual bb cartridge... the bearings are made up of a ceramic material and have had extensive R and D !!! they work great!

I went from a p-trim non-ball bearing .81 60-1, to a q-trim (much larger wheel) .81, 76mm wheel dual bb, and found that the spool up was the SAME!! full boost around 4200....I feel that the dual BB makes a HUGE difference...worth every penny!!

Supposedly, Majestic Turbo swapped in what they called a GT79 wheel into my T78. Larger than the T78 compressor, they had to machine out the snail for it to fit. The diameter is about 3.5" across almost 89mm! Anyone ever heard of this compressor size? Does it sound familiar? I have pictures up under https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=122215

I know this thread is really old but I had a question. I was on Nopistons and saw a thread about a 20b powered Rx8 with a GTB-76 dual bb turbo from Puerto Rico. The power claim was:
That rpm looks awfully high. Could a turbo that size be able to provide enough flow to make that kind of power on a 20b at that rpm?
657 RWHP @ 9600 RPM @ 14 PSI Boost
