Exclamation best way to kill omp same mode?

I have had my car for months and have never driven it. I started with a vac job and then plugs, wires, ast, ect. basicaly ive spent some cash.Anyway i finaly figured my main problem and the car has a dead oil metering pump and it is in safe mode atm.So i found out i can get a used omp and plug it in and strap it to the strut bar or whatever. Now i need to know if there is a easier ,faster or cheaper way to get rid of safe mode. ...btw does the pfc have the ability to stop the fail safe?

.......yes i realise i need to run premix with no omp , its been mixed and filled as of today

oooooooo........... if there is no eisier way im in the market for a used but fully functional omp

And can't you put a resistor to trick the ecu?

why the hell would you plug in a different omp just to strap it to the strut bar? there are only three bolts that hold it in, just install it completely instead of being lazy.

Dude, just replace the damn thing. Don't go doing any goofy "strapping" to the strut bar. 3 10MM bolts hold the thing on, and 2 more hold on the lines. 1/2 hour tops.

You can get used ones from people that have Haltecs etc.. Don't pay too much though. Some people try to get dealer cost for them..

Good luck with the car.

Well, every Haltech aside from the E11 can't control the stock OMP.
