Ball bearing T70 too big for fd?

Ball bearing T70 too big for fd? will it boost fine or take forever.. im not use to havin big *** turbos.. i still would like to have low end power with big hp numbers. i still want good repsonce but with high hp... kinda not sure wat to do.

or wat is a turbo is good for twin turbo, thatll make high hp with good response?
two t3/to4e? these too small?

Im looking for at least 400whp. with good reponse. or more like 500whp..

Check the single turbo section.

spool time will depend on your ports and AR on exhaust side.

Your kinda asking alot, you gonna have to give or take, meaning.....loose a little low end for more top end and vise versa.

I hate to say it though.....if you want low end and high HP, do a ls1 swap.

GT-35R's seem to be a poplular choice. Pretty good low end spool and good high output. Like Hai said above though, check out the single turbo section, there is a wealth of info in there.

I have a t70 with journal bearing on stock ports. I will spool fine in first with no prob, in other words hardly any lag.

hardly any lag? what kind of boost are you seeing in 2nd gear at 4k rpm, 5k rpm, etc?

There's a big diffference between building a 400 rwhp car and a 500 rwhp car.

Anyhow, sounds like you want a T66. IMO, a T70 is not a good street turbo.. too laggy.

The GT35R is capable of the 400whp mark you are looking for. A BB T66 will hit those marks as well. And if you really want to drop some money, look into a T04Z. Any of those 3 turbos will spool nicely and give you good top end numbers. The GT35R will spool the fastest, but it won't have the top end of the other two. Best of luck.

sleeperFC on here is currently running an MP T70 on his stockport s4 TII. spools up very fast and has great power and response overall. hell, it actually spools quicker than his old hybrid. hahahah
