Intercoolers are usually rated for flywheel/engine horsepower, not rwhp. With 350whp, your looking at ~405 at the flywheel/engine. (Roughly 15% drivetrain loss) At any rate, that intercooler is to small for the kind of power your looking for. When your shopping for an intercooler, it's usually best to find an intercooler with a higher rating than your actual power goal. However, you don't want to go WAY over your power goal when choosing an intercooler.

i dont get how an intercooler could be rated to a certain HP with all the different applications...

does it have something to do with how well it flows and how much air it holds at one time?

The HP ratings you see are just a guideline, and are typically ratings from the best case scenario. That's why it's good to use an intercooler with a higher HP rating than what you need. However, as I stated in a previous post, you don't want to go to large. Another thing to keep in mind is just because one intercooler is larger than another, doesn't mean it will out perform the smaller intercooler.

Your best bet is to contact someone like Turbonetics/Spearco, Precision, PWR, or Griffen to help you decide which intercooler is the best fit for your needs, and space provided.

I don't think Spearco or Turbonetics will sell to the general public anymore. I've been getting calls from people asking to buy turbo parts from them since I'm a Wholesale distributor because of IC sales.
