Anybody ever use JGS Precision
I bought a BOV and wastegate at PRI last year from them and have to say I really like the billet stuff over cast. I bought from them because I was growing old waiting on Tial to come through on the promise for a bigger wastergate. I have yet to get my 20b going partly because I lost my place in line , so to speak, waiting on Tial. My car got pushed to the back of the garage. Anyhow, I'd like to know if anybody has actually used their products and wonder if they perform as well as the appear to be made. Thanks.

Yes they are decent gates.....not quite the quality of the others. For the top notch stuff.....go Turbosmart.

I bought the JGS wastegate and Blow off valve this year.
So far they are Great.I loved the design of the JGS.It just 'looked better' on paper, and it made sense. So I got it,and I am happy.

DO NOT BUY PRECISION PRODUCTS. I have personally seen wastegates fail and turbos turn into junk with no excuse other than quality. After thinking about it for awhile it seems that they can't cope with rotary oil pressure nor egt's. Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere. I can't recommend Tial enough. As for turbo's I'll leave that alone unless people want to listen to my daily rant...

As far as I can tell, JGS Precision has nothing to do with Precision turbo. JGS doesn't even build turbos. they have diifferent websites, addresses, contact numbers, etc. Are you referring to JGS (jgsturbo.com) or Precision turbo (precisionturbo.net)?
The JGS gate that I had was built like a rock and, in my opinion, had better build quality than Tial.

I know the difference. I was just throwing that info out there as someone suggested Precision. JGS didn't solve boost spike issues for my one customers setup. It also didn't make things any worse so I assume they're quality up to this point. It turned out to be the crappy A-Spec turbo manifold causing the problem.

I am considering the JGS 50mm WG for my new build. The quality and build definitely seems on point. I am a big Tial fan. My BOV has been rock solid. However, my wastegate began to stick from a few years of use. Upon disassembly, the cause was carbon built up around the valve stem. This isn't necessarily a defect in the design. However, the diaphragm was showing a bit of wear with a large gash across the base. It seemed that it was only a matter of time before it failed. Scary stuff....
