ive owned 6 FCs the past 5-6 years and only one blown engine, it was a TII and coolant seals got brittle and started leaking. Engine reliability is all in the tuning.. take short cuts and it will bite you

3 FC NA rx7's and 0 rebuilds.
2 Turbo FC's 1 rebuilt after I broke and oil metering line without knowing it and my current FC was rebuilt prior to me purchasing.
All over 10 years of driving rotaries.

6 all from different things. Also I don't go easy on them...I run it has hard as it will go...have to, to be able to run with the v8s here in the south
also I build all mine myself so no big deal really
