Please bare with me. I don't own a RX-7, but I'm looking to get one. Theres a TT Supra in the family and the boost bug bit me hard. So I'm looking to add another Japanese sports car to the lineup. I've pretty much decided on the RX-7 but was just wondering what it would take to get to 500rwhp and the approximate costs to do so. I don't have any real experience with the rotatries so excuse the lack of knowledge. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Single turbo upgrade and many mods wil be needed FYI

 

Try a T66, or a T51, and all the supporting mods, Around 10-15K to do it so it will last. Basicly, A big turbo/manifold, fuel, ignition, drivetrain, ported motor, and a Stand alone ECU. Plus someone that can tune it. It is a $$$ job, but more than that it requires a good tuner. Find a good tuner near you, and $$$ him/her.
It is not like a Supra, where you can buy known mods, and have any good mechanic install them. It requires a good tuner(think I mentioned that), and some $$$. Carl
