Reason I ask..

Thats my goal.. I want to join the 500RWHP club.

Anyone have or gotten 500RWHP with a T78 set up on PUMP GAS????

sure, supras do it all the time...

nah, but for 500rwhp on a rotary you're probably gonna have to run more than 15 - 16 psi which is what the typical tuner would tell you = 93 octane limit.

me personally, i have run 18psi on pump with no problem... so i say turn it up till you hit your goal

 

Your gonna be hard pressed unless you run meth. inj. and run 20lbs of boost.
But at 15, there's just not enough turbo. I don't think I'll hit 500rwhp at 15psi.

 

on a t78 and mild port you usually see 405-425 at 15psi. even with a larger streetport or a halfbridge you'd only see maybe 450. I expect to get 500 out of my setup at 20+psi.

 

In order to reach your goal you need either c16 or water/meth inj.

 

500 to the ground is a pretty hard number to hit with a t78. I cant see it happening on pump gas, unless you are using other means of power add on, like nitrous or something. I would suspect you would need to run c16 fuel and probably around 25 psi of boost, to attain your goal. Also depending on your fuel setup, you may be limited by your injectors or your fuel pump to less then 500.
