To be quite honest mate, there is no need to jump down the bloke´s throat. I am sure you feel very safe behind your keyboard, and have no doubt got into a habit of abusing other "less knowledgable" members. This guy asked for a bit of advice, and to be honest he should get a respectable answer.

Satoacs... You need a fair bit of work and a knowledgable firm to achieve your aim. And damn deep pockets. Have you ever been in or driven a "proper" 400bhp RX7? I say proper because your rollers in the states tend to exagerate a bit. 400 is very quick, and unless you have a big score to settle, this should suffice.
All the best mate,

John

omg i was using 500 as an example. i know its gonna blow if i actually do that!! i know everything you guys stated...im not stupid. the only thing that im doing right now is trying to see what i want to put in it. its not like turbos are the only mod that im gonna do, of course you have to have everything to maintain them, use them, and control them properly. not to mention the rest of the car has to have other things.

im only planning out a good car. im going to get one soon and i want to make sure i know exactly what i want to do to it, before i even get it. just to be safe so that i dont destroy it. i have driven RX7s in the past and i liked everything about them, so i decided to get one. now i am in a position to get one and i am trying to plan out what i am going to do.

I don't think You'll distroy your car running 500hp, many have done it successfully and still are doing it. I think instead of clowning around in here with a bunch of "Haters" as what I call them. Just call Sean at a-spec. I personally think a gt40 kit would be the right step for you with the power that you have in mind, even a gt35R will make make what you want. If that is too much money you can always opt for the plainbearing GT40 which is alot less money. I too am building my own project like you, but if you fool with some of these negative morons then you'll get no where. Call Niko or Sean at www.a-spectuning.com and tell them what your looking for and see what they say. you can also call Cameron at www.Pettitracing.com .......steve at Gothamracing.com . i can not tell you what exactly will work because I am in the process of trying it too. But stop fooling with a bunch of guys who think that if they haven't done it, then it can't be done. if this world was filled with people like them alone, this world would never advance to no where. No offence meant to anyone but satoacs only needed some advice not redicule. Good Luck Satoacs.
