^ that's why i rephrased it to say 91 instead of pump gas.
of course you don't need it--i was just curious to see if anyone's done it.

I think 500rwhp on 91 octane may be possible with water injection. Without, maybe for one dyno pull, until it grenades

i think it'd be kinda cool for bragging rights. but once you've got enough to break the tires loos in 3rd, what's the difference in a few more or less hp...for a commuter car anyway.

There's ways to controll wheel spin. On the street just turn the boost down. Pretty easy. And mines not a commuter car. Its a fun weekend car.

The answer to that question is the same as the answer to just about every other question...

Anything is possible if you have enough money and make enough sacrifices to get it....

the 13b can make 500hp - there are cars doing it right now.

but do you want to make the sacrifices you will need to make to get there for a daily driver?

I cant really believe this thread has gone on this long..and here i am making it go further.

LOL, I have 3 friends with Supra's pushing over 820rwhp. The fastest of the three ran a best of a 10.01@146mph. They need a **** load of power cause they arn't anything more than overweight turbocharged titanic's.

I'm hoping for 500+. Bridgeport, HKS TO4R, and enough fuel to create a shortage.

At about 26psi you'll be close with that turbo.

I hope more than that. I have a buddy who dynoed at 19psi good for 489rwhp. I think there is someone else on here who is running close to 600psi at around 28psi. I could be wrong though. I love your car by the way ernie, awesome.

With a response like that glass, I must be wrong. I stand corrected. If I can get over 500, I'll be happy. Take care guys.

True, true, lol. Obtaining the power in them is very easy. But it doesn't make the owner a Drag racer.

Since you said PFC, I am assuming an RX7, If that is the case a 63 is probably too small to make that power at that boost(unless it has some silly huge hot side. Please ask your friend to post his results, I'd like to see how a 63 works on a 7. A 67 Q trim .84 or larger would do it @ 20 psi on a large street port and perfect tuning. Good luck, Carl

A guy that I work with named Matt, made 410rwhp @14psi on 93 octane. He also made 450rwhp @19psi on 93 octane. He has a 94 R2 RX7 with mild street port, water jacket mod, 2mm ceramic apex seals, RX7Store.net GT35/40R turbo kit, HKS Super Dragger exhaust, K&N air filter, Greddy FMIC, Fluidyne radiator, and an Apexi Power FC. I think that is all. And it is fun as hell to drive.

Dee

PS. Here is a pic of his motor, if I can get it to work.
